Our Review of the GLCE365 from Body-Solid:
For me (Matt) plate-load leg extension machines are never going to feel as comfortable as the continued resistance experienced on a cable version, such as the GymRatZ Selectorised Leg Extension/ Curl. That said, used with good form, they are effective - just don't cheat or overload the machine! The lying leg curl on the GLCE365 proves even more comfortable - again, with good form.
Personally, I would choose the Body-Solid GCEC340 cam-series leg extension/ curl over the Body-Solid GLCE365. The reason, I prefer seated leg curl to lying leg curl, also, the offset cam lends itself better to perform the exercises one-legged - similar to performing it on an IBS machine, such as the GymRatZ Iso Leg Extension, but at a far cheaper price for home a gym. Remember, this is my personal preference only, as Pete (GymRatZ owner) prefers the Body-Solid GLCE365.
