Very comfortable!Body-Solid Doorway Chin BarReview submitted on 7th July 2010 by matt Standing proud of the door width, the curved horns provide a more comfortable standard wide-grip chin position than many commercial chin bars. Also, the angled inverted grips are at just the right distance and angle for me. Matt Bembridge |
Lots more exercises for only £30!Body-Solid GDCCBAR Bar AttachmentReview submitted on 30th June 2010 by matt It's a simple thing (a bar to connect both pulleys of the Body-Solid GDCC200), but for only £30 you can create more scope with your home gym training by adding a variety of further exercises - lunges, squats, bench press, shoulder press, upright rows, curls etc. - that you're able to perform. Thumbs up! MATT |
Super-Smooth Motion!Body-Solid GS348Q Smith MachineReview submitted on 29th June 2010 by matt Well built frame & passes the test of a super smooth smith machine - being able to lift it from one side & the bar travels freely. Excellent value-for-money! |
Dual use - excellent!Body-Solid GLPH1100 Leg Press/ Hack SquatReview submitted on 20th May 2010 by matt Another mammoth task to assemble - coming in 7 boxes. Once built though, the Body-Solid GLPH1100 is a well built (to last!) dual use station. Both leg press and hack squat are comfortable, but I have used better - namely the GymRatZ 45 degree Leg Press and Hack Squat. |
Comfortable movement!Body-Solid GCCO150 Cable CrossoverReview submitted on 20th May 2010 by matt Having installed the Body-Solid GCCO150 Cable Crossover in a couple of PT gyms, I've been very impressed with the smoothness of the GCCO150 (formerly WCCO150) and it's longevity - having now been in continued use for a few years. |
Sturdy Dip Station!Body-Solid GDIP59 Dip StationReview submitted on 20th May 2010 by matt Ideal for a home or studio use - inexpensive and good quality! |
Good Cable CrossoverBody-Solid GDCC250 Cable CrossoverReview submitted on 20th May 2010 by Matt A very good cable crossover, however, the very similar Body-Solid GDCC200 Functional Trainer (only crossbeams are different!) has the advantage of a smaller footprint + a bar attachment available. |
Good unit!Body-Solid GDCC200 Functional Training CentreReview submitted on 20th May 2010 by Matt Body-Solid's GDCC200 Functional Trainer (Dual Adjustable Pulley) represents superb value-for-money. The feel and smoothness may not be that of the GymRatZ DAP, but it's good nevertheless & the standard weight stack should prove ample. |
Just brilliant (once assembled correctly)Body-Solid GAB100 Ab MachineReview submitted on 1st July 2009 by Pete Walker Gym Ratz A while back we had one of these Body Solid GAB100 Abdominal Crunch machines on display in the shop. First thing to not was at 6' 2" I thought I was too tall for the machine as it seemed a little "cramped" but a week later I realised the foot bit had been put on the wrong way round. Once corrected it was spot on. |
Comfortable to use and well priced!Body-Solid GLM84SM Lat MachineReview submitted on 15th January 2010 by matt The GLM84SM offers near equal comfort to many lat pulldown/ low row machines that are twice the price. 285lb is a big weight stack, so I was a little wary about the build suitability, but it's more than ample, making the GLM84SM ideal for any home or personal training gym. Setting the machine up is a little fiddley, but, as long as you're patient, you should be fine. |
