The Life Fitness X9i Elliptical offers 20 levels of resistance that you can adjust yourself or select from 18 different pre-programmed workouts. Five of these programmes are HeartSync workouts (adjust automatically to your target heart rate zone) which can be used with the wireless strap or LifePulse contact. The Life Fitness X9i Elliptical's LifePulse contact, which is suitably located where your hand will rest (some manufacturer equivalents do not), is ideal for a household of several users or a small gym.
