Further to the adjustable stride offered by the Life Fitness X5 Cross Trainer, the Life Fitness X7 Cross Trainer improves upon this excellent concept by making the stride adjustment electronic. Doesn't sound like much, but from a practical point of view this is a sensible progression and means you're far more likely to use the technology - I (Matt) am sure this'll make the manual version redundant over time. Aside from that, the Life Fitness X7 Cross Trainer is bigger and better again - more akin to the full commercial version - subsequently, bridging the gap to the Club Series X9i (CSX) Cross Trainer. Again, both the 'basic' and 'advanced' console options are available and, as stated on other models, I would be more inclined to purchase the 'advanced' option.
