In short, the Horizon Fitness Elite 507 Treadmill offers everything on a large scale - huge 60" x 20" running bed, 2.5hp (4.0hp peak) motor, 14 multi-level programmes, upto 12mph with a 12% incline - for a low price.

The latest revision of the substantial Horizon Elite 5 Treadmill, now known as the Horizon Fitness Elite 507, offers a new look clearer display console (see image) with easy to read feedback and multiple quick key operations. The toggle switches (for speed and incline) are still present on the arms, but Horizon's Elite 507 see's the introduction of Ergowheels. The Ergowheels are located at the end of the second pair of hand pulse grips (the two horizontal arms situated under the cup holders) and enables you to adjust the speed and elevation without changing your running posture. The orthopaedic running belt is now even thicker - 4.4mm thick. Another notable update is that Horizon's Elite 507 Treadmill is now fitted with their Digital Drive Control System (DDCS). The DDCS is a continuous duty motor that runs at a lower RPM (quieter). It works with a high speed Digital Processor that responds quickly to each footstep to ensure a smooth workout. So, basically, the motor works harder when required. Finally, the warranty across the new range has been increased to Lifetime Frame & Motor, 3 years parts & labour.
