Information about the Home Power Cage System

This new addition to our Home Gym use power cage range comes with some amazing features never before seen on a home gym system. Obviously It's an extremely well specified rack with  features normally only found on the very highest specified full commercial power racks but it's lighter gauge and smaller section steel box construction puts it (in our minds) firmly in the domestic gym class of power racks and cages.  As such, firmly targeting home use, this cage comes with space saving bolt-on additions, like a high/low pulley lat/low row plate load station which bolts on to the back of the unit in the same way the Body-Solid racks, however this rack also has the option of a bolt-on cable cross-over which can be fitted to the front of the rack.

The only slight reservation I would have with this rack compared to it's bigger brother the Delux Power Cage is the lighter guage box section may not be best served by the proliferation of holes in the frame for micro-adjustment of safeties etc.

Band pegs... Yes this rack has those too however woody bands (used to provide the dynamic connection between olympic bar and pegs) are more typically used by powerlifters and strong men which I would suggest would mean looking at the the heavier duty Delux Power Cage as a very minimum specification (still classed as a light commercial unit by our own ratings).

So in short, this is a versatile space saving fully featured domestic power cage with plenty of options and accessories but "bigger" lifters would be advised to go either with a stronger and more basic rack like the Body-Solid GPR378 or the Delux Power Cage and of course any of our fabricated super-heavy duty GymRatZ range of racks.
