What is Maximuscle Promax Protein based on?

Promax is a whey based protein powder from Maximuscle. Mixes easily and tastes pretty good.

Maximuscle have always advised against mixing their proteins with milk as it reduces the BV and increases the lactose content, but, if you don't have a problem with lactose or milk and want to give your Promax protein a slower release perhaps before bed then we say why not. Mix your promax with milk and add a few tablespoons of essential fats, something like "Good Oil " etc and you have a great protein shake!

Would I use Promax by Maximuscle?

Being a bit of a tight git I like to get the very best value for money, which typically comes in the form of buying gurt big tub of protein at least 5lb or bigger, so although I have used Maximuscle Promax to give it the taste test, on the whole better value protein can be found in a bigger tub.
