PowerBlock Pro U50 (5-50lb) Dumbells (pair)
First, let's clarify some of the confusion regarding what's what with PowerBlock adjustable dumbells, as the list of available products confuses myself (Matt writing) and I'm familiar with them. Don't let the initial confusion put you off though, as they're great dumbells. Right, there's two ranges - Sport and Pro. The Sport range are metal, whereas the Pro range are urethane. The urethan dumbells offer a bit of flexibility and are therefore more robust, which is reflected in the greater warranty (see below) and cost. Both Sport and Pro ranges are divided in to 3 weight series, with the larger having Add On Kits in order to grow the set as you need. I hope this helps to clear up any unnecessary confusion :) - just call the store if you're in doubt.

The Pro U50 dumbell offers increment change in the following 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22 and 22.5 kgs per hand, so 5lb to 50lb per handle, hence the U50 name (Urethane 50lb). Personally, I really can't see the point in PowerBlock making the U50, as the Pro U90 provides perfectly adequate increment changes (misses out a few) and is upgradable. Still, if you know you'll never want for greater than a 50lb dumbell, the U50 will suffice.
