Our review of the Powertec Workbench Olympic Adjustable Bench:
Being a free-weight stalwart, I (Matt writing) am always going to choose the more traditional dumbells, utility bench and power rack over a leverage machine, however, isolateral movement equipment is commonplace within gyms and often favoured at home with its increased safety. Remember, this is an Isolateral machine, therefore, the arms are independant, which allows greater exercise variation, such as performing the same exercise but alternating arms or with one arm etc.
The build is typical of Powertec (very good!) and their tried and tested Workbench bench design is very comfortable for use. Be sure to check out the video below for a quick demonstration...
