Tribulus Terrestris products are slated by some, and sworn by by others. Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestris has been around for many years as a herbal "testosterone booster" or "hormone regulator". Having used Reflex Nutrition's genuine Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestris and other Tribulus products, I can definitely say for myself, I have noticed subtle changes in mood and sex-drive; neither to the same degree as experienced on certain pro-hormones (no longer available), but significant none the less. I would also suggest, the differences would not be as significant in males younger than perhaps mid to late 20's. (though that's purely my own speculation and not scientifically backed). I can't say I have noticed any real difference between this Reflex Tribulus and other brands on the market however, Reflex are now one of the very last companies in the UK that have been granted an extended time for which to sell Tribulus Terrestris as a supplement in it's own right (to 2012 I believe) so the choice of brands is extremely limited but Reflex has always represented the very highest grade Tribulus and great value.

I would also suggest you take a serious look at Rhodiola Rosea also from Reflex. I find it a truly fantastic supplement and very economical. Could be used in conjunction with Tribulus Terrestris and any other bodybuilding supplement.

Testosterone levels can be elevated by as much as 40% when using Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestris.

How long should you take Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestris ?

It should be taken every day for 8 weeks. The typical dose is 3 capsules daily for people under 90kg and 4-6 capsules for people over 90kg. It is active in the body for approximately 8 hours. So you need to take it 3 times per day to ensure that your body continually releases luteinizing hormone, which results in testosterone production. Once you have used Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestris for 8 weeks, the body will no longer continue to produce excessive testosterone.
