GymRatZ NEW Reflex Pit-Stop Bars Review:

Reflex took their Pit-Stop bars off the market to re-formulate them for about 6 months or more, but the results were worth the wait. Whereas the original Pit-Stop bars were as filling as a 3 course meal and more than a match for even my hearty appetite, these new improved Pit-Stop bars while still packing a whopping 34g of protein per bar are smaller and contain less calories than the original ones. Easier to eat, just the right size to be taken as a meal replacement compared to the likes of Maximuscle Promax Meal Bars which are more of a snack sized protein bar than a full-on MRP.

An interesting combination of textures are encountered with every bite. Not just another chewy bar but a mild chewiness interlaced with occasional firm crispy bits and delicious chocolate coating.

The downside to the new Reflex Pit-Stop bars is that fine line between VAT free food and VATable confectionary has finally caught up and although still refered to as having a "chocolate flavoured coating" Reflex Pit-Stop bars have gone the way of most protein bars and now have to include VAT which naturally makes them more expensive.

The other thing worth noting is Pit-Stop bars contain no artificial flavourings or sweeteners so perfect for anyone wanting to eridicate such substances from their diet.
