Scifit ISO7000R is everything you'd expect from any full commercial recumbent bike and then some more. The ISO7000R is virtually identical to the world renowned ISO1000R recumbent but featuring a bi-directional (forward & reverse mode).

The ISO7000R step through recumbent bike features a selection of the best thought out and designed exercise programs without confusion offered by some other brands in the fitness industry, coupled with reverse mode operation means the legs can be trained in alternate directions at various time intervals helping alleviate muscle fatigue in a short non-productive time span in un-trained clients thereby maximising effort and energy expended by varying loads on alternative muscle groups. The SCIFIT ISO1000R is like much of the SCIFIT range  Self Powered, in other words no power supply required making it an extremely versatile commercial recumbent bike.

With a comfortable over-sized seat the ISO7000R provides exceptional lumbar support and user weights of up to 500lb with standard or optional "sports" seats (450 lb with adjustable seat option)

The SCIFIT ISO7000R has a step-through width of up to 23" making access easy for anyone regardless of size or weight.

Like the SCIFIT ISO7000 upright bike, this recumbent version has a bi-directional operation (forward + reverse) and also like the ISO7000 it is available in a cheaper uni-directional variant known as the SCIFIT ISO1000R. Personally I Pete of GymRatZ think the a Recumbent bike is one instance where reverse mode should be given very serious consideration by the very nature of the exercise and the larger weight and less able user the recumbent bike caters for. I would suggest going for this ISO7000R as a matter of course as the benefit of reverse mode far outweighs the marginal increase in initial outlay.

To summarise the SCIFIT ISO7000R Recumbent Bike is fantastic. Not just for medical use but for heavy duty sports performance where the benefits of recumbent cycling over regular upright cycling are very significant.
