GymRatZ Pro-Load 36 Protein Bar Review:

Protein Bars are very much a matter or personal preference so it's perhaps best to read about the texture and consistency from the taster perspective and decide if that's something you'd like. OK. So now I've got the disclaimer out the way I'll get on with my review of the Sci-MX Pro-Load 36 protein bars. First thing I should point out is the name is a bit misleading. Each bar has 36% protein whereas every other bar I have seen are named with the number reflecting the actual grams of protein per bar not per 100g. Pro 50 protein bars etc. So the bar it's self contains 25g protein and not 36g as you'd expect.

So now that's sorted, personally I found the bars very easy to eat. Great taste, slightly chewy but not excessively so. In fact, the Pro-Load 36 bar is a bit too easy to eat as it makes grabbing another one a bit too easy.

NOTE: Pro-Load 36 bars only currently come in Vanilla flavour so if you don't like Vanilla that's tough!  :¬)

Matt on the other hand didn't like them and we've reverted back to keeping a box of Maximuscle-Promax-Diet-Bars-Review open in the shop for daily snacking. In summary, I love Pro-Load 36 bars, Matt dislikes them and shop customers tend to typically buy further boxes.
