NEW Reflex Pit-Stop protein bar
Gym RatZ verdict...... a huge improvement on the old progen protein bars. The
new Reflex Pit-stop protein bar is a little smaller than the progen bars, and
has about 5 grams of protein less, however it still packs a hefty 35 grams protein
per bar, is extremely low carb considering the size, has less calories and is
much more manageable as a protein snack and convenient bar for your pocket or
glove box.
Consistency is Reflex Pit-Stop protein bars are pretty much spot on. There's
a crispy crunchiness resembling puffed rice (Rice Crispies etc) and it's not
overly chewy or too filling.
Flavour wise Choc/Mint is as to be expected, sort of chocolaty with a mintyness.
Same as Reflex choc/mint instant whey. Should prove to be very popular.
Coconut is definitely coconutty, not overly so, but enough to be called coconut.
A taste very similar to watered down Malibu.
Caramel..... not tried yet but I would guess not dissimilar to the original
progen caramel/peanut without the peanut. :¬)
All in all, the new Reflex Pit-Stop Protein Bar gets a big thumbs-up from Gym
RatZ. Now re-priced at a SSP of £29.99 so definitely a budget friendly bar.
