WaterRowers + Gym Equipment
We've re-jigged our beloved WaterRower section of the website due to the ever expanding range of stunning WaterRower Matching gym equipment from the German NOHrD design and manufacturing company which means dividing all machines off into their own individual catalogue sections. Therefore my previous and somewhat entertaining introduction to the WaterRower Rowing Machine has been replaced by this rather bland writing that most people will never see let alone read as it's the top-level WaterRower category page. As a brief overview we still have all the WaterRowers of course but have now added the georgeous "Sprintbok" curved treadmill, the NOHrD exercise bikes, WaterGrinder, Wooden wallbars, Swingbells, TriTrainer adjustable bench, SlimBeam and other items made from the same wood as the WaterRowers to ensure an entire gym can be matched up to provide the ultimate in style, design and elegance of the original and never dated WaterRower Rowers.
WaterRowers
In this section you can browse all the WaterRower models available and read our reviews for each model. The thing to bear in mind is in reality the rowing action doesn't differ between any of the WaterRower models as they all use the same drum mechanics (variable water resistance) and all WaterRowers share the same ease of storage (as seen in this picture). What separates the original WaterRowers from the many clones and copies that are appearing is they are covered by a commercial warranty from the box. Other copy-cat water rowers require the additional commercial warranty purchase ranging from £100 and upwards. We only sell the original as we have yet to see another rower that gets close to the brilliance and pleasure afforded by the one and only WaterRower.

Curved Treadmills
The stunning Sprintbok Curved Treadmill range from NOHrD have been designed and crafted to hamoniously match not only the wooden WaterRower range but also the rest of the NOHrD designed and beautifully crafted wooden framed exercise equipment range.
Curved Treadmills have become a favourite addition to the Crossfit scene. Without the constraints of a motor-driven powered treadmill the curved treadmills allow the user to accelerate and decelerate without hinderance or limit but until now curved treadmills have been all-black units for the commercial gym.

WaterGrinders

Wallbars
Whether creating a contemporary gym or traing studio the waterrower NOHrD wallbars create the perfect base unit from which a range of matching, multi-functional training attachments can be added including a sit-up (workout) bench, parallel dip/pull-up handles (multi-adapter), bodyweight pulley bench (CombiTrainer) plus of course the tilt-out top bar which can be used for hangs, chin-ups or attatching a suspension trainer (TRX etc). These WaterRower NOHrD wallbars are of course manufactured from the same woods as the rest of the WaterRower NOHrD range and turn an empty wall into a working space without encroaching into the room.

TriaTrainer 3-way bench
The perfect compliment to the stunning range of wooden framed gym equipment from WaterRower. The german concept and design company NOHrD blends a unique balance of class and luxury with unique; highly practical design elements.
The Tri-Trainer appropriately named due to it's 3-way folding design is perfect for dumbbell work, abdominal exercises but the real beauty comes from it's integration with the rest of the NOHrD range, WaterRowers and equipment. Available with black faux-leather for durability or special order real leather if required. In a closed position the TriaTrainer serves as the perfect abs and core trainer. Unfold one side into first position and convert the chair into a semi-bench for working your back muscles and glutes. Opened into full extension the TriaTrainer can be used for all standard bench workouts with or without free weights.

SwingBells
NOHrD SwingBells are the free-weight cross between a dumbbell and a kettlebell. Crafted from hand stitched premium grade leather and the same selection of woods to perfectly match your WaterRower and other NOHrD gym equipment. The SwingBells are weighted with fine iron pellets which give the greatest density in the smallest and most comfortable package but unlike kettlebells the pellets also have a natural instabillity creating increased muscle recruitment as the swingbells have a more dynamic action when used for kettlebell type exercises. Supplied with a solid wood tower stand in the same high grade hardwood with weight increments of 2, 4, 6 & 8kg the Swingbells are perfect for lighter workouts of a more calinsthetics nature.

SlimBeam
WaterRower NOHrD SlimBeam is a very unique cable machine designd to match the whole range of luxurious and contemporary fitness and gym equipment made from various premium grade hardwoods such as American Black Walnut. Pictured here with the TriaTrainer bench and the optional Lat Pulldown attachment to add additional functionallity to this designer dual adjustable pulley station. WaterRower Gym Equipment
Oh where do I start? Being a life-long Iron and Steel, back to basics lifter I once would have sneered at such crafted creations the likes of which have been bought to life from the amazing NoHRD design and manufacturing "arm" of WaterRower. However with my passing years and tiring joints the draw of a long walk in the country has a much greater attraction to me having "been there, ticked the box" when it comes to training hard and heavy for the last.... 30 something years. This range of WaterRower-sympathetic training equipment is more along the pilates or yoga way of life. The calm and peaceful gym with that connection to nature through wood and water which allows a meditative like state of mind to be entered into rather than an outward explosion of power and "aggression" created by regular free-weight training.
So I might have gone a bit peace and love in my older years but we all go through changes and when the time comes you'll be setting up a Zen gym with wood and water and not a wi-fir or T.V. signal in sight. <3
