Rumour has it that many of the equipment lines actually come out of the same factories that LifeFitness and HammerStrength Gym equipment are made. Quality, design and style all point to why this might be so. Obviously it's not a claim we can state nor quantify but it's something we've heard from several sources... Established in 1999 in the Westcountry of Great Britain, these two well-known brands - GymRatZ and Watson Gym Equipment - united in their infancy to produce some of the best gym equipment in the world and collaborated on some UK gym equipment firsts, including the GymRatZ Glute Ham Bench and the Safety Squat Bar, leading the way in specialist gym equipment design and manufacture.
To this day, GymRatZ and Watson Gym Equipment still enjoy a close working relationship and Watson Gym Equipment continues to manufacture the vast majority of our GymRatZ heavy duty commercial gym equipment to the same exceptional quality and attention to detail that customers have come to expect over the last 20 years.

GymRatZ Core Gym Equipment is a new British Gym Equipment brand featuring a "core" range of heavy duty free-weight equipment, the staple components of every decent gym. - Unfortunately the company manufacturing these items for us has ceased trading so please see our long-standing GymRatZ Gym Equipment range of heavy duty gym equipment made in the UK which has been growing since they started also in 1999 from a very humble 1-man fabrication start-up company.

At GymRatZ we have been providing HEAVY DUTY GYM EQUIPMENT since 1999. Once we found a fabricator that could produce commercial gym equipment to the specification and quality we demanded the "GymratZ Commercial Gym Equipment" brand was formed.
No frills, no unnecessary fancy attachments or designs, no attempts to re-invent the wheel. Just hard wearing, hard working, old-school heavy duty gym equipment based on designs that have proven their worth year after year after year.
It was through our work with the trainer for the London Irish Rugby Club that our fabricators were able to design and create the first Glute Ham bench in the UK. Until then no-one had attempted to create such a beast and the import from overseas proved far to costly.
Our original design has since been copied and cloned by other gym equipment fabricators, but it was our original design and work with London Irish and that made it readily available.
You'll not find GymRatZ commercial gym equipment in many council run gyms as these tend to be tied up with big brand manufacturers such as Technogym and LifeFitness that produce more fancy (and significantly more expensive) resistance stations, however, where gyms are controlled independently and quality, value, strength and longevity are more important, you'll find our equipment being put through it's paces and giving everything the most demanding users expect and then some.

Impulse Health Tech Ltd originated in Taiwan before moving to China in 1991. The company has been making gym and fitness equipment for over 30 years and their strength lines come in various ranges however by far the most popular line is the plate-loaded Impulse Sterling range which comes into the country flat-packed in a Black/Red colour scheme.
Being flat-packed and typically Off-The-Shelf means providing there hasn't been a stock shortage or delay the equipment can be sent out for delivery within a day or 2. All machines are classed as full commercial gym rated and have proven to be very popular over the years.
