GymRatZ Eccentric Hooks (pair)

2001 Update: Our adjustable eccentric hooks have been re-designed and re-modelled making them by far the best eccentric lifting hooks in the UK.  See images for current design.

Our Adjustable Eccentric Hooks can be loaded with up to a whopping 120Kg each!

Without any weight each hook weighs 7.5kg. In use, by repping just short of the hooks touching the floor you can perform a full set with maximum weight and on the last rep. just dropping a little lower allows the hooks to rest on the floor and detach from the thereby reducing the load for the last few repetitions of the set.
Eccentric hooks are a great way to train heavy without a spotter and make a great training aid to any home, club or commercial gym.

Eccentric hooks for performing a heavy negative - ideal for use with bench press and squats. Simply add the loaded eccentric hooks on to your bar and they "drop off" at the mid-point (bottom) of the movement, thereby lessoning the weight on the positive action of the exercise.
