In 2022 York Barbell introduced a new "performance" version of their rubber hex. dumbbell. They call it Pro PVC Enritched Rubber Hex Dumbbell.

The new coating looks the same as the outgoing rubber but just like the urethane alternative produced by other brands the PVC enritched rubber coating cliams to be harder wearing, more environmentally friendly, and it affords a superior product finish.  

Other than the higher quality moulding/finish they are virtually indistinguishable from their rubber counterparts so can be mixed in with existing rubber pairs without an visual distraction.

These safe, attractive dumbells have contoured, knurled chrome handles and durable rubber-covered heads for increased safety and comfort. This set (Set 1) and Set 2 (37.5K6 to 50Kg) you get the full dumbbell range from 2.5Kg to 50Kg making a much easier ordering process.

The heads are permanently affixed to a thick 35 mm solid steel shaft improving the strength of the head / handle joint.

The knurled chrome handles are ergonomically contoured to fit comfortably in the users' palm.

Smaller handles graduate up from 25 mm grip to 35 mm grip for increments 10Kg through 50Kg.

The pvc enritched rubber coating increases durability, protects flooring and equipment, enhances appearance, diminishes noise and is easy to clean.

To prevent damage these dumbbells should be stored on the Dumbbell Tray Rack.
