Note the tiles offered here are 50cm X 50cm in size. Choose 15mm or 30mm thickness option from the dropdown box.

Jordan Activ floor tiles are a firm favourite with commmercial gyms and professional sport facilities, featuring brilliant noise suppression and impact cushioning properties, all whilst retaining a neat and tidy finish. The Activ floor tile system presents itself as a great strategy for preserving freeweights and other frequently dropped pieces of equipment in a commercial enviroment.

Easily fitted and maintained whilst being crafted from an incredibly durable granular rubber compound, its easy to see why so many commercial gyms chose the Activ Tile. Available in both 15 and 30mm thicknesses, and three tile types: Square Edged Tile (no ramp), Ramp Edged Tile (Ramped on one edge) and Corner Edged Tile (Ramped on two adjacent edges) and the Tile with Internal ramp edge - two required for every internal corner required

Dimensions: 50cm x 50cm (4 tiles per sqm)

        • Thickness: 30mm or 15mm

        • Weight: 4kg / 6kg

  • 5 Year Manufacture warranty

Straight edge tiles can be loose laid without the use of rubber adhesive when the completed floor or mat is held within a frame. For a full floor area the frame will be your four walls. The easiest and possibly the most economical way to make a frame for a matted area , lifting platform or free edge is to adhere the edges of the outer line only of tiles together so that they form a frame to contain the other mats. If you do not contain your tiles within a frame they make creepor move slighly under foot.

You can, of course, stick your tiles to the floor. This is permanent, expensive and will cause damage to your sub floor. Most customers do all they can to avoid sticking rubber mats/tiles down.

If you are looking for larger heavier tiles/ mats that can be simply self laid without adhesives due to their size and weight  - check out the similar items tab above

Bought for home gym

Review submitted on 25th June 2018 by

I was struggling to choose between these or the interlocking tiles for a small home gym. I needed tiles so that we could easily access plumbing under the floor. I was advised to buy the interlocking ones, to avoid using adhesive and to avoid tiny gaps between the tiles; however my carpet fitter wasn’t keen on the interlocking tiles, as they’re more tricky to fit. We went with these and I’m really pleased with them, we didn’t use adhesive, as the fitter said they’re secure enough as they are. It’s a small area 8ft x 12ft, they went down easily, gaps not noticeable, dampens the noise of the treadmill and as an added bonus, they look great!
