Always looking for great flooring products but very selective about the quality as the market is now flooded with inferior imported low grade rubber that disintegrates within a few months we have found a new range of rubber gym flooring tiles that offer a combination of quality, durabillity and economy made right here in the UK to our own specification.

Our Original Crossfit Tile is made from shredded recycled rubber. This gym floor tile is suitable for heavy impact weights areas including funtional training and crossfit gyms but it's also CFH (Critical Fall Height) rated which means that it would be the perfect flooring to fit under crossfit rigs and gym rings where there is risk of falling due to failed grip or muscle fatigue when performing muscle-ups, chin-ups, monkey bar swings etc. 

This is by far the thickest range of rubber gym tile we have on offer which also means it's the most impact resistant against dropping, dumping, throwing etc of loaded barbells thereby giving a greater degree of protetction to the equipment (Olympic bars, plates etc)

Constuction is such that it isn't in any way "spongy" under foot so ideal for free weights areas.

• This 50mm Thick Crossfit Floor Tile is Critical Fall Height rated at 1.8m
• Each 1m x 1m tile weighs around 34Kg so bonding between the mats isn't required.
• When fitted wall-to-wall the tiles will hold eachother in place but any "open sided" tiles will require edge bonding to adjacent tiles and in extreme cases also to the floor. For bonding tiles to each other or for filling perimeter gaps you will need to use our Pro-Seal 322 industrial adhesive. Bulk discount price for a case of 12 x 330ml cartridges.

Our testing has found that 50mm proves to offer the best balance between impact absorption from a weight training perspective against price and although we can supply up to 4" (approx. 105mm) and down to 20mm in 5mm increments we would suggest these sizes aren't best suited to a weight training/gym environment although there may be a situation where a floor needs to be matched to a specific height in which case the flexibillity of these alternative sizes can make a big difference.

Of particular note is the fact that the tiles are also available with ramped edges either Internal corner, External Corner or Straight making it very easy to install specific lifting areas reducing cost and allowing a large area of flooring to be covered in a lighter duty grade of floor tile or roll.

READ THIS FIRST: Heavy duty rubber flooring smells of rubber! (to varying degrees) This smell eventually goes, sometimes weeks and sometimes months later. Wheh considered for use in a domestic capacity, unless the gym area can be isolated from the main house and adequately ventilated by fresh air the smell will permeate through the whole house and as such it's not advisable to use in an adjoined conservatory for example. Smell of rubber is no grounds for return of a rubber product
