17mm Floor protection
Popular in specialist training facilities, a weightlifting platform is ideal for performing explosive Olympic lifts such as deadlifts and cleans. Our weightlifting platform has 2400mm x 1800mm flat surface and comprises 17mm thick rubber mat sections. A tapered surround limits trip hazard.
Not strictly a "platform" as such due to the absence of a wooden centre section and being made from single thickness 17mm mats it's not particularly suitable for overhead "drops" from Olympic lifts but as an economical way of creating a deadlift area in the gym, it represents great value and gives additional protection to the floor from occasional heavy landings.
