Like the GymRatZ Glute/ Ham Bench, our first Laying Bench Row was made on request from London Irish R.F.C. The initial description of the prone bench by the Strength Coach at London Irish reminded me (Matt) of an old laying bench row that was being put to good use in Bob's Gym (freeweights gym opposite GymRatZ store) at the time. After refining the concept (to do away with the known flaws of the old machine), the GymRatZ Laying Bench Row was born. Despite being an unusual and more specialist piece, the numbers we've sold of the GymRatZ Laying Bench Row have been good - largely through players and coaches moving from club to club and wanting to use the same bench.
