At GymRatZ we take matters of security very seriously, you will notice right from the initial stages of entering any personal data that we send everything through an encrypted page, even the page for logging into your account is encrypted! Our level of security is generally not seen on e-commerce stores although you may be familiar with it if you use on-line banking services. The green browser address bar provides a very bold security statement for your peace of mind and is only available with the very tightest website security.
With identity fraud becoming as great a threat as regular Credit Card fraud you should be very wary about sites which expect you to input any personal data into a non-encrypted page. If your browser doesn't display the closed padlock in the bottom right corner, or the padlock has a warning then your data may be at risk !
For your convenience we also offer you the option saving payment card details against your account, but your data is not stored on the server nor is it recorded in any legible format on any PC connected to the internet this is another way of increasing your own payment security as you can re-visit our site without needing to re-type your credit card details or read them out over the phone!
All payments are processed in-house as with telephone orders (card holder not present) so payments will always show on your statement in the name of "Gym Ratz".
Our web server is also security scanned on a daily basis to ensure it is Hacker Safe ! Over a decade of I.T. security experience means we have every corner covered so you can purchase in complete confidence.
Alternative delivery address - Because of our strict security policies we generally don't ship to an address that differs from the registered address of the payment card. Under certain circumstances, providing sufficient security checks are cleared we can make allowances at our discretion. (Military and RAF bases, Fire and Police stations etc are all good to go). If delivery to an alternative address is required (works address etc) and security checks are not possible we will provide our bank account details for payment by BACS, on-line bank transfer or cash deposit into our account. We do not accept payment by cheque, western union, PayPal or any other method open to abuse and fraud.
