PowerBlock Sport 9.0 Stage 1 (5-50lb) Dumbells (pair)

First, let's clarify some of the confusion regarding what's what with PowerBlock adjustable dumbells, as the list of available products confuses myself (Matt writing) and I'm familiar with them. Don't let the initial confusion put you off though, as they're great dumbells. Right, there's two ranges - Sport and Pro. The Sport range are metal, whereas the Pro range are urethane. The urethane dumbells offer a bit of flexibility and are therefore more robust, which is reflected in the greater warranty and cost. Both Sport and Pro ranges are divided in to 3 weight series, with the larger having Add On Kits in order to grow the set as you need. I hope this helps to clear up any unnecessary confusion :) - just call the store if you're in doubt.

Here's further details of the PowerBlock Sport 9.0 Stage 1 Dumbells (pair):

Near identical to the Sport 5.0's, offering increments of 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22 and 22.5 kgs per hand. However, the 9.0 has the benefit of being upgradable to 90lb (41kg) with the Stage 2 Add On Kit, or even greater again (125lb/ 59kg), by also adding the Stage 3 Add On Kit. Personally, if you're looking for this sort of weight from your dumbells, I'd probably opt for the PowerBlock Pro equivalent (U90 + Stage 2 + Stage 3).
