UK Premium Steel Plates made in England
Our new range of machined steel weight plates are manufactured here in the UK to tight tolerances (better than 1%) giving a very thin and highly durable solid steel olympic weight plate. Zinc coated for an everlasting rust-free finish that's hard wearing and looks good. Laser engraved numbers all add up to an excellent weight plate that will last a lifetime of use and abuse but also supporting the best of British manufacturing and engineering. Add to that these UK steel plates are typically available off the shelf or with a maximum lead time of 2 weeks should any sizes go low these plates are half the price of true "competition" style plates (Werksan, Lionfit etc) but obviously not suitable as a replacement for bumper plates in cross-fit gyms etc. NOTE: We can laser etch your gym logo for no additional charge onto plates depending on size of order.

G2 Thinline Plates Cast Iron
York G2 Cast Iron Olympic weight plates. The same as the G2 Rubber Coated Olympic plates but a little cheaper for anyone looking for a decent quality Olympic plate suitable for both home and commercial gym use. As with the rubber coated G2 Plates they interlock with other G2 plates of the same size thereby keeping the space on the bar or loading pins to an absolute minimum. Fully rated for commercial gym use we highly recommend these weight training plates. Great quality and far better made than the regular York Cast Plates which we've discontinued for the time being due to recent production/quality issues which these G2 Plates aren't affected by.

G2 Thinline Plates Rubber Coated
Premium grade York G2 Rubber Coated Thin Line Olympic weight training plates. Made in America these new plates from York Barbell are unique in so much as they interlock with each other and the cut-outs also provide both a handle for carrying and a lifting lip to facilitate ease of lifting bigger plates left face-down on the floor.
Not significantly thicker than an all-cast equivalent the rubber coating eliminates the usual plate clank and clatter making them perfect for both home and commercial gyms alike.

Full Commercial Olympic Weight Plates. Rubber Iso Grip Plates offer the very best quality and durabillity thanks to a high grade materials and a tough rubber coating that is a delight to hold. Olympic Rubber Bumper Plates
Our selection of Solid Rubber black and colour coded olympic training plates offers a super tough, full commercial Olympic weight training plate, Also s known as a training plates, being significantly thicker than cast plates for the same standard diameter these plates have been finding favour with cross-fit style training as they can better withstand the punishment and abuse of repeated dropping and throwing down of a loaded barbell by people not strong enough to laft AND lower the weight in a controlled manner. <smile> Bars on the other hand aren't so tolerant of this abuse. Hammertone Olympic Plates
York Hammertone Olympic Weight Plates from China. Currently set to replace York's black cast iron plates from Canada, however, having inspected some plates from the initial batch we don't feel the quality is suitable or serviceable and for the moment can't put our backing behind these particular plates as they don't come close to the quality of any of the other York Plates. As such we'd strongly suggest purchasing the York G2 Cast Iron olympic plates made in USA which are exceptionally good and suitable for the demands of any commercial gym.

Black Olympic Cast Weights
A selection of Cast Iron Olympic plates. Plain cast Irn plates are the most economical form of Olympic Weights and are extremely popular, especially as the price of cast iron products can fluctuate. When the price of cast is high we have found customers often then prefer to find the extra money and up their game to the beautifull Olympic Rubber Iso plates which are rated as full commercial gym equipment.

Competition Calibrated Weights
Graded and calibrated weight plates and bars suitable for club and competition use. Calibrated Olympic weights are definitely not a requirement for general weight training and club or gym use however for competition use having weights and plates that are calibrated and known to weigh exactly as is expected is pretty much essential. Calibrated competition weights command a premium price as they are a premium product but if you require them we have a growing selection.
