It's funny how things come round in circles and become fashionable once more, whether it's supplements, workout kit, etc. In this instance, the fan wheel cycle with moving arms (named Airdyne by Schwinn) has been popularised by being repurposed in CrossFit boxes as a high-intensity-interval machine, rather than a leisure trainer. Many searching for the Airdyne will already know what it's all about and how they're used for intense interval training (like Tabata) in CrossFit boxes. If not, watch this video: THIS WILL BREAK YOUR MACHINE and you will NOT be covered under and warranty as it's clearly NOT being used in a domestic environment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are aware of low-scoring reviews in the US from CrossFit boxes complaining of the machine breaking within 30 to 45 days of conisistant use. As is the case with many items that find themselves being used in a CrossFit box, the Schwinn Airdyne AD6 Exercise Bike is not warrantied for use in this environment. As you can tell from the video, the use is vigorous and erratic and as such Schwinn do not offer a warranty for CrossFit use. For DOMESTIC use, the manufacturer offer a 2 years parts and labour warranty for home-use.

NOTE: As stated above there is a 2 year warranty for home use ONLY. Any previous refernece to light commercial warranty is no longer valid and the UK distributors have re-classified the Airdyne AD6 as a domestic use product only.

If the equipment is used as a key part of any commercial or multi-user enterprise in it's own right then it's FULL COMMERCIAL and NOT covered under any warranty either manufacturer or retailer. (Sale of goods act) etc.

If the item is purchased and delivered to a residential address but subsequently used in a commercial environment it's being used in a commerical capacity and NOT COVERED UNDER ANY WARRANTY. 
We WILL discover and expose deception and attempted fraud.
